In meditation one is typically trying not to think; this is something quite different. At the end of the day or week allocate a fixed amount of time to reflecting. Don’t rush, don’t harshly judge your actions or inactions.

  • There are various religious traditions which would place more structure on this process, this may be helpful for you.
  • It is a good idea to limit the time you make available. At the same time it is also good to actually set this time so you don’t rush/‘finish’ early.
